3.5 stars - I liked this one best of the first three Vampire Wardens novellas in the boxed set. Perhaps because Troy had more issues and angst going on than Evan and Aidan because of what happened to him. This gave his character more depth and more layers to peel away. Also, being the last of the brothers to have his story told, the reader gets to experience him through two other books before hearing his story so there is more time to connect with his character. The downside--and this has been a problem for all three novellas so far--is the typos and sometimes awkward sentence structure.
